My name is René Jorge and I am a professional Chef and owner of sauté by René.I have been involved in the food service and hospitality industry for 19 years and have dedicated myself to providing the highest quality cuisine and service to the community.

Biography
In 1996, I graduated from the Institute of Culinary education in New York City and in 2001 I earned an Advanced Certificate from the Wines and Spirits Education Trust.
During my career i have worked with world renowned chef's such as chef alfred portale of gotham bar and grill, chef tom colicchio formerly of the gramercy tavern, and chef scott bryant of vetras all in new york city
today
since my time in nyc i have married, had children and moved to west virginia. although i no longer work in award winning restaurants, my passion for great food and wine remains.
